Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the Martin County Supervisor of Elections Office joins our nation in remembering the nearly 3,000 lives lost, honoring the courage of the first responders and everyday heroes who answered the call, and recognizing the strength and unity shown by Americans in the days that followed.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor their memory and reflect on the resilience of our nation.

May we always remember those we lost, those who served, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

September 11, 2001 — We Will Never Forget.

Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes before voters cast their ballots?

A wonderful group of women from The Retreat at Seabranch got the chance to find out during a special visit to the Martin County Elections Center! Supervisor of Elections Vicki Davis welcomed the group and led them on an inside look at the people, equipment, and processes that help make elections happen.

From getting an up-close look at our voting equipment to learning more about election operations, the group had the opportunity to see firsthand the planning, preparation, security, and teamwork that go into serving Martin County voters.

We love opening our doors and sharing the work that happens beyond the ballot box!

A big thank you to the ladies from The Retreat at Seabranch for stopping by, asking great questions, and spending part of your day with us. We enjoyed having you!

History, Heritage & Elections at the Flagler!

Supervisor of Elections Vicki Davis had the honor of serving as the first speaker for the Speakers at the Flagler Program, presented by the Stuart Heritage Museum!

Mrs. Davis shared stories from her personal journey and Martin County roots while also giving attendees a look into the world of voting and elections and the important work happening at the Supervisor of Elections Office.

As part of the evening’s historical reflection, attendees also had the opportunity to see a Sample Ballot preserved from 1986, during the time Peggy Robbins served as Martin County’s Supervisor of Elections. This piece of election history offered a meaningful connection to the county’s past and the evolution of the elections process.

Joining Mrs. Davis for the evening were Chief Deputy Kherri Anderson, along with several familiar faces from our community. We were especially pleased to have Mr. Navitsky, former Superintendent of Schools, in attendance. Mr. Gary Maxwell is also pictured with Mrs. Davis.

It was a wonderful evening filled with local history, community connections, and conversations about elections!

A special thank you to the Stuart Heritage Museum for inviting Mrs. Davis to kick off the Speakers at the Flagler Program, and thank you to everyone who joined us for this special evening!
